The campus is well kept despite it's student body. There are flower beds and benches scattered about, and cobblestone paths that lead to the school doors.

The classrooms at Birchwood are large and spacious, the seating is arranged in a semi-circle around the desk or podium at the front of the class.

The Birchwood Cafeteria serves three meals a day. They accommodate vegetarian and vegan diets, and desserts are provided with dinners.

The gymnasium at Birchwood is two stories, the first floor being that of a basketball court. The top floor is a track that circles the first floor with railings looking over. On the second floor there's a weight training room.

Students at Birchwood Academy have plenty of books to pick from in their large expansive library. They are encouraged to read (forced really) and if a book they're interested in isn't on the shelves the librarians are more than happy to contact another school to get it. There are several computers in the library that students may use.

The nurse's office is at one of the far corners of the school, but that doesn't stop students from stopping in constantly to try and get out of class.

There are two seperate dorm buildings, one for the boys and one for the girls. Teachers are given the larger teacher dorms if they stay on campus.

The alleyways of Glendale can be a bit shady at times in terms of the characters who visit, but truthfully the only time to really be worried is at night.

Glendale's shopping center has just about every shop one can imagine as well as a large mall planted right in the center.

The city center is a large grassy area with a small fountain in the center. Many people often throw coins into the fountain in hopes of good luck.

There are several parks within Glendale. Some are simply fields of grass with paths and others are actual playgrounds where families often take their children.

Glendale's surrounding area is mountainous and foresty, there are plenty of nature trails and hikes to go one.
