[attr="class","hdinfo"]Gifted with the ability to articulate himself well, Nicolas is said to be charming when he wants to be. Unfortunately, he defaults to being downright insensitive most of the time, as he dislikes formalities and pretenses; straighforward and to the point, he leaves no room for confusion. The teenager makes it clear how he feels, and if he doesn’t like someone, he’s more than willing to explicitly tell them, often in a rude manner. Despite this, he can be unexpectedly considerate at times, and he is perceptive to an almost uncanny degree.

Nonetheless, Nicolas is a problem child. While by no means violent, Nicolas is something of an instigator of sorts, someone do derives pleasure from watching chaos unfold before his very eyes. It’s nothing personal, really — he’s just inquisitive by nature and wants to see how people would react to certain situations. That being said, he can also be quite crafty and mischievous when he wants to be and has some rather questionable morals — for example, he has no qualms about hacking into the school’s system to alter his grades or trolling people from school online. In spite of this, however, he is not malicious in the slightest.

But, the most defining characteristic of his personality would be his apparent lax nature. Hedonistic and lethargic to the core, Nicolas isn’t one to expend any energy on anything at all. He’s the epitome of the stereotypical underachiever, and he couldn’t care less if he was called a slacker or a sloth. As long as he’s able to do what he likes, he doesn’t mind if he has absolutely no future ahead of him. He is a good-for-nothing in all sense of the word.

[attr="class","hdinfo"]As the unfortunate third son of the Vuong family, Nicolas has never quite had it easy. Between complying with the ever pressing demands of his parents and trying to find his own niche within his family of renown businessmen and politicians, he was burdened with the expectation of achieving acclaim from an early age. Outed quickly as the black sheep of the family, he soon fell into the shadows of his two older brothers despite whatever talents he may have held, cementing an inferiority complex within him by the time he was five. Despite his stellar grades in school and repertoire of miscellaneous skills during his elementary school years, he still amounted next to nothing in comparison to his much more successful siblings. And while considered the 'baby' of the family, he was largely neglected throughout his childhood, his parents' attention soon shifting to their eldest two sons.

Disheartened by his perceived failures, he gave up, and finding it futile to even try, he settled for mediocrity instead, allowing himself to sink deeper and deeper into self-indulgence.

Proceeding to waste his days away, Nicolas steadily became the disappointment he now is today. He turned from the model student to the prime example of a slacker, and after a particularly rough transition to high school, he failed his freshman year. Still, the youth was simply unmotivated, not unintelligent. Not wanting to be subject to his parents’ harsh scolding once again, he proceeded to hack into his school’s computer system and manually alter his grades himself, making sure he passed without drawing too much suspicion. But while this scheme was successful for the most part, his parents' patience with him was wearing thin. Disgusted by the fact that one of their young marred the otherwise reputable family name, they unceremoniously dumped him at Birchwood Academy on the grounds that he was a social misfit in need of rehabilitation, which... to be fair, he was in some respects. (Nonetheless, he felt this course of action was a little unwarranted.)

Needless to say, the teenager wasn't happy by this sudden change of environment.

Although he adjusted fairly well to his newfound surroundings fairly quickly, there remained the fact that he was being treated for some sort of behavioral issues. As expected, he didn't take too kindly to the notion that he needed therapy, and despite several attempts to arrange appointments with counselors, he would never attend said sessions or simply bolt through the door whenever he did show. That minor detail aside, Nicolas has since taken a liking to Birchwood Academy, and while his old habits remained, he's starting to find school life quite thrilling.


★ Nicolas is half French and half Vietnamese, and he's also fluent in both languages.
☆ Although not the most athletic of people, he does parkour and can occasionally be seen running through school grounds as he tries to flee from faculty and staff.
★ His natural hair color is brown, but he tends to alternate between dying it purple and dying it back to his natural hair color. He also has several ear piercings.
☆ The only thing he ever puts effort into is his art. He prefers drawing digitally and always carries his tablet around with him in the event that he finds himself with free time to draw.
★ Nicolas also enjoys reading manga and watching anime, and if given the opportunity to, he'll break out of his shell and ramble on about his favorite series for hours. He also thinks your waifu is shit. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is his current obsession.
☆ To no one's surprise, he tends to skip a lot of his classes still and can often be found napping in the school library.
★ He usually sleeps for a good ten to twelve hours every day, although he'll sometimes stay up for days at a time to marathon anime.
