make me move like a freak,
mister saxobeat
There's no sadder moment than when you reach into a chip bag and find only crumbs are left. Had he really eaten the last chip? It didn't feel like it, but inspecting the bag's contents, Elias found he had indeed not been mistaken. That had been his last one, so...
He was out of snacks.
A forlorn look at the comic he was reading and woeful steps into his shoes later, Eli was padding across the length of his (and Dean's) dorm. He grabbed his wallet from the pocket of a jacket, and figured he'd need at least three bags of food to last him the rest of the day. It probably wouldn't take long to get though, so he nudged a door stopper with his foot on his way out for ease of access. There wasn't anything valuable in their room (he was pretty sure), and aside from that Eli didn't bother to think too hard about it.
What should he get this time? Sour cream and onion chips... Cheetos maybe... and Funyuns. That sounded okay, but what if the cafeteria didn't have them? Was the cafeteria even still serving food? Maybe he'd even have to head into Glendale, which was a longer trip than he'd intended.
The sophomore pursed his lips, but headed towards the cafeteria anyways. No harm in trying, and even if he did end up taking awhile, it's not like anyone was waiting on his return besides his comic books.
