and the stars follow suit
The moons pale eye hung in the dark sky, silently judging the events that befell the world beneath its watchful gaze, joined by its accompaniment of stars twinkling like little diamonds in the sky. Clouds lazily slipped in and out to watch what was going on down below, they only shared a mild interest, hardly willing to tarry despite the scene that was playing out in the world overtaken by the night’s reign. So this would bring up the question as to what it was that had drawn the attention of these celestial eyes to cause them to peak out of the darkness to the world below. Somewhere within the vast expanse of our planet was a small town, Glendale which was home to a school for those youth’s whose paths had gone astray.
It was within this town that a scene was playing out, one so amusing that it drew the attention of such far away beacons of light. Within that sleepy little town was a small park, naught a lot more than a few trees and some slides, swings as well as a few of those plastic ride on horses mounted on a large spring. In this little park was a young woman, whom was the one that drew the interest of those far away stars, and that might have something to do the young teenage girl clinging to a tree branch high above the ground. The girls long dark colored hair hung freely to sway in whatever gentle breeze could be bothered to blow this night, her thin arms and legs wrapped tightly around the branch she was on as though falling meant certain death, and perhaps it really did. For at the bottom of the tree, her eyes on it at all times, was a fearsome beast that waited at the base of this tree to tear her apart. There was no way she was going to come down and the dog wasn't moving despite her constantly yelling at it, throwing volatile swears at the creature, but it didn't budge.
It was a monstrous beast with wild untamed fur from roaming about in the wilderness where it tracked down its prey. Sharp beady eyes so it could pick out its victims from far away, with a long tongue that was hanging out of its mouth so it could taste its prey’s blood and with those sharp teeth that were perfect for ripping and tearing flesh . Truly it was a fearsome beast that sat on all fours staring up at the young woman, Alexia, it was watching her and waiting. It was a monstrous, vicious breed of dog known as a golden retriever, probably the worst of them all to be quite frank.
How had she even ended up in this tree, there weren’t any branches lower than the one she was currently clinging to and that was a full head higher than her when she stood up. One of her roller blades was broken and discarded in the grass near the tree, broken the wheels cracked and twisted in a broken angle.

"Twenty-nine... thirty..." Pony Boy sighed and slumped over to lean against his moped as he counted through his total for tonight's tips. "Mn... Well, ain't too bad I guess. More than usual. Jeez, ya think people'd tip ya more seein' as how ya drive all the way to their house." He stood up, stretching and letting out an exhausted yawn. Tonight had been fairly rough, multiple deliveries to the outskirts of the stores range. Though he knew it was merely coincidence, it felt like a coordinated attack on his stamina, ability to smile at being given a two dollar tip, and the fuel take of his moped.
"At least that one dude gave me a nice tip." He grinned while putting the money away into his wallet and tossing it in his bag. Straddling the seat of his moped, he jerked the kickstand up with his heel and settled himself as he started up the engine and began his trip home.
His fifteen dollar tip tonight had come from an unlikely source. He'd had such a hard time finding the customer's home as it was an old run down apartment building with door numbers that were vague at best. The customer had sounded furious that it had taken him so long to find the apartment, but when he answered the door the man seemed to be a little taken aback. The guy had sounded like he could have wrestled a bear but much to Pony's surprise, the man was fairly well dressed and his angry and frustrated tone melted away as soon as he opened the door. Not that Pony Boy was lost as to the reason. A simple look behind the man to his well furnished and almost classy looking apartment interior was a good enough hint.
While Pony Boy wasn't gay himself, he enjoyed coming across customers who had a thing for younger guys. Those were the best ones in his opinion. Though they might be a little odd or creepy at times, they filled up his wallet just fine.
Thinking of the tip amount, Pony Boy reached behind him to make sure his bag was still strapped to the back seat of his moped. Feeling the course material he smiled and put his hand back on the handle bar. Looking around as he drove, Pony Boy took notice of the fairly deserted streets and the absence of police vehicles. He decided to take the opportunity to speed up. Pony Boy grinned, a while ago he had illegally upgraded his moped with a 250cc engine. Of course this meant he had to be much more vigilant of cops as he wasn't licensed for a vehicle of that speed, but every mph counted when it meant he could get home and relax even a minute sooner than usual.
Speeding along he tried to ignore the passing yogurt shops that still appeared open. Sometimes he hated having a job as it made him even weaker to the idea of buying stuff he didn't need. Though he supposed that was better than his previous ways to obtain goods. Oh the five finger discount... Granted he'd never been caught stealing, he wasn't too excited by the prospect either. He was too cute to go to jail. Sighing again he caught sight of a dog barking and wagging it's tail at the base of a tree.
"Psh, hope that squirrel's okay." Pony Boy laughed lightly as he drove by, only to catch sight of what he could have sworn was a person sitting in the tree.
Several feet past the tree, Pony Boy stopped his scooter and looked back. He could see what were definitely human legs hanging from a tree branch but beyond that point it was a mystery. Glancing down to the dog then back up to the obscured figure, he sighed and made a quick U-turn to head back and see what was up. Pony Boy parked his moped a few feet away from the tree and removed his helmet, hanging it on the right handle bar. Walking over to the tree he pet the overly excited dog on the head and looked up to get a better look at the horrified victim of the fluffy menace.
"You ah, need some help up there?" Pony Boy grinned, placing his hands on his hips. "I guess this little guy got ya spooked 'er somethin' right?" He squatted down next to the dog and examined it for a collar while scratching behind it's ears and trying to avoid getting licked in the face. "Hm.. Ain't you got a home, little buddy?" Pony Boy smiled and patted the dog as he stood back up. "Hey uh.. Hold on a sec." He didn't elaborate but disappeared from the person's line of sight for a several minutes.
Pony Boy entered the soon to close deli closest to where the dog and the girl he had treed were at.
"Hey um, can I get like the meatiest sandwich ya got?" He grinned. "Y'all got a dog out there lookin like he starved to death." He laughed and elaborated a little. "Got some poor girl scared to death in a tree. How y'all ain't checked out all that barkin yet?"
The cashier looked a little uncomfortable, guilt obviously appearing on his face. Though Pony Boy grinned and acted like it wasn't a big deal. Of course he only did this to avoid conflict, in honesty he wanted the person to feel at least a little guilty. Lettin' an animal roam around like that and be so disruptive was bad for business. Even if it was near closing.
Finishing up his purchase, Pony Boy left the store and walked back over to get the dog's attention. Leading the animal away from the tree he took half the sandwich from the to-go box and sat it on the ground. "This other half's fer me, hope ya don't mind." Turning back, he shoved the to-go box into his bag and looked up into the tree.
"Hey, it's safe ta' come down now." He smiled and glanced towards the dog then back to the girl. "He'll be busy for a while with that sandwich. Don't worry 'bout it." Pony felt hesitant to offer any real help but he held his hands out regardless, ready to help ease the girl to the ground. "I can help ya' down if ya' want."

Alexia clung to the tree with strength as well as endurance that she would never had thought to be part of her body what so ever. However, even with this inhuman super strength that kept her safe from the clutches of hells hound that sat at the base of the tree starting up at her, she knew that it couldn’t last forever. Eventually if she couldn’t come up with a plan, there would be no choice but to face the maws of this infernal beast from the deepest depths of the blackest of hells. She’d seen Cujo at least a dozen times, so her brain has perfect knowledge of what an ‘oh so innocent’ dog could do.
A voice called out to her, snapped the pale girls head towards the source her dark eyes practically bulging behind her large glasses. ”Yes! You there! Help, get me down… no wait don’t go! Eep!” Alexia squeaked as the boy squatted down to the large dog, the beast was clever though and didn’t’ take a bit out of him, it was saving room for its desired target. Surely it would strike when this guy tried to remove the creature, but instead he said to wait a moment. ”no! wait wait no don’t….” He left her, here in a tree, to die, by a monstrous dog.
While the guy, she hadn’t even gotten a good look at him before he’d abandoned her to the fate of death. She looked down at the dog, whom immediately looked up and started panting, they gazed at each other, Alexia was certain that the dog was imaging the best way to kill her and eat her. She was out of options, her last choice was to drop down on the dog and stick her thumb in its eye, yeah that was the best plan. It would freak out and withdrawal, Alexia took a deep breath to at least attempt to lessen the throttling of her heart counted to three and then…..continued to hang on. Okay so it wouldn’t be that easy to let go and drop down, she had meant to but it seemed her arms and legs had a different plan than to follow her orders.
Finally, the guy came back, with…food? She opened her mouth to make a comment but the words fell short as he led the beast away. Clearly he knew how to deal with such monsters, to serve it up a meal of flesh that was far less effort than her would serve as a great distraction while they made their get away. ”Oh..!..” the beast was indeed busy chowing down on the food, this was the chance to flee before it could end her life, the one chance she had. ”Then lets get the hell out of here!” She planned to come down on her own, but she slipped and instead of easing herself to the ground the poor woman fell.
Whether or not Pony boy was ready, Alexia plummeted down to ground right towards him. Hopefully he could catch because otherwise a small bony, flailing young girl was about to hit him in the face as her shriek cut through the night, this was not going well at all!

"Uhh-ah!" Pony Boy grunted as the girl fell into his arms, grabbing hold of her tightly, he stumbled back a few feet but was able to regain his balance. Steadying himself, Pony Boy looked up at the girl as she also recovered from the sudden impact. She was fairly cute but looked like she was also probably a breeding ground for social anxieties. Not that he wanted to assume anything from first glances that is. Her glasses were large circle frames, not something he saw too often, but oddly they suited her and made a nice focal point of her eyes... Though he couldn't help but notice that she looked a little sad. Maybe it was just the deal with the dog.
"H-Hey..." Pony Boy quietly mumbled, gazing up at the small girl. "you're kinda pretty, huh." Realizing he'd been holding her for probably a second or two too long, he sat the girl down. "Sorry bout that, I didn't 'spect ya to fall down so sudden. Guess that dog there had ya pretty spooked, huh?" He raised a brow, glancing over to the dog who was happily wagging it's tail and chowing down on the roast beef that had since been strewn about the ground.
"Name's Pony Boy! Nice ta' meet ya." He grinned and moved to zip up his backpack tightly, making sure it was still firmly fixed to his moped. "Even if this is probably the strangest way I've met someone." He looked back and took notice of the broken roller blade on the ground. "I uh.. I reckon that's yours, huh?" He picked it up and examined the wheels. "Looks pretty banged up.." He winced at all the cracks in the wheels and the dented in frame. "Damn girl, gonna have to buy a whole new rack for this." He said disappointingly, handing the broken roller-blade over to her. Catching another look at her now that he was able to concentrate, he realized she looked very familiar.
"Hey... Do I know you?" Pony Boy furrowed his brows, a searching look in his eyes. "I know you. W-well, not like know you, know you. But I've seen ya around." He laughed shortly. "You go to that same stupid "academy for troubled youth" as me, right?" Alexia Ciannor

Alexia fell into the guys arms, the world was shifting she could feel herself hit something solid, surely all of her bones were broken. They weren’t, obviously she was quite fine just a little exaggerated and a flurry of hyperboles. Vertigo robbed the young woman of her ability to figure out exactly where she was, in a strange sort of warm embrace, that was so weird. She reached up to adjust her glasses as her vision cleared up and she realized that she was in the arms of a person a boy the young woman’s face turned- immediately three shades of dark red. A sound, relatively similar to helium escaping a hot air balloon that’s pulled tight, a very high pitched squeak. ”H-h-h-h-h-h-h………huuuuuuu…” she let out a long empty gush of air as her words failed to form in any sort of articulation. Then the guy had the audacity to call her pretty, that turned Alexia’s face so red that she was worried that there might even be a nose bleed. A moment can feel like an eternity on special occasions such as the first kiss, or horrible ones where you are so awkward you want to explode and die, then spontaneously combust. Those also tended to last incredibly long and be quite agonizing, as this one did. ”M-me, either “ she half mumbled as he set her down Alexia smoothed out her clothes. Her heart was hitting dangerous levels in its beating rate, the poor girl didn’t know if she could handly that. ”I really don’t like dogs “ Speaking in an awkward sort of not looking in his direction she looked at the dog with a side ways glance watching it eat food, that didn’t help her calm down in the slightest the poor girl took a tentative step back. Long ago the young lady had given up trying to explain to people how dangerous dogs actually were. The young woman shuddered as she watched the animal chow down on the food, imaging its teeth sinking into her neck over and over again- yeah no to hell with dogs they can all die. ”O-oh!” This guy- Pony boy, which to her sounded like some stupid internet in her not at all judgemental way. Still he’d saved her from death, so the least she could do was be polite, even if all the girl wanted to do was bolt and run to the next county over. ”I’m Alexia...AH!” She groaned outwardly and slumped her shoulders, standing lopsided with one sock foot and the other still with a roller blade attached to her feet, she pulled the good one off and compared the two. Yeah it was screwed, she’d have to buy a whole new pair, this probably could be repaired, but ordering a new set online meant she had to deal with less people. The guy- uh Pony Boy said he knew her, that made Alexia’s head jerk up, no one knew her that was like saying you knew the invisible man. ”Ah…y-y-you’ve seen me around? That was unusual, that was so unusual she felt her stomach twist slightly. ”Y-yeah I do go to that school…” This guy went to the same school as her that meant might be trouble, although he had helped her. What if he was a murderer, or a rapist, or both, or both and another thing! Her eyes looking to the dog for a moment, he was still the best option for safety without a doubt. "Alexia..." Pony grinned stupidly. "That's a pretty name." He felt a sense of boyish interest well up inside him, like an idiot. It was true though, she was quite cute, one of the cuter girls he'd seen at the academy. A lot of them seemed sort of scary or.. Not into guys. Not that Alexia seemed too into anything at the moment other than hiding from that dog.
Pony felt a little guilty at finding her so cute even though she was currently terrified by the ferocious beast down the block from them. His first instinct was to playfully flirt with her to make her giggle. Or at least that's how most girls responded.
What he wanted to say was "pretty name for a pretty girl" but he decided against it given the time of night and the fact that she already seemed terrified. He wasn't sure how that'd go over with someone as jumpy as she seemed, so he thought he'd save her the experience of another spook tonight. Or so he'd thought. As he was checking his bag, he noticed her odd demeanor.
"You.. You okay?" Pony Boy's faded as he noticed Alexia seemed to become very uncomfortable, rather, more uncomfortable than she had already been. She seemed to withdraw even more, looking fidgety and concerned. "O-oh, wait. Is it the school thing? I'm not a bad guy." He paused, looking a bit pensive and glanced to the side before looking back to the girl. "I mean, I got into a pretty nasty fight with a dude, got me an him both in a lotta trouble.. Me more'so than him. But that's it." Pony felt himself dying inside as he attempted to frame his crime in a not so horrible manner. Keeping it to "got into a fight" was the tip of the ice burg, figuring it was a better idea than telling her he'd knocked a guy down a set of bleachers and busted up his collar bone and arm. "I know it sounds kinda bad, but I'm a gentlemen, I promise."
Pony felt horribly embarrassed at the way he'd started to ramble on about his ordeal. 'What did she have to be afraid of?' He thought to himself. 'If I'd done anything too bad I'd be in jail or somethin', wouldn't I?' The boy rolled his eyes, immediately regretting the thought, he knew good and well how often the system worked out for guys. Quickly distracted from his inner conflict, Pony noticed the lights to the deli shut off across from them. The man who'd been working inside came out the door and locked it behind him then headed off on his own. Furrowing his brows in confusion, Pony Boy pulled out his phone to check the time... 10:05
"Shit, it's past curfew." Pony sat on his moped and twisted the ignition, resting his feet on either side of the cycle. Glancing over to Alexia, he bit his bottom lip for a moment and then spoke up. "I can give you a ride back to the dorms, if ya want." He reached back to take hold of his helmet resting on the seat behind him and held it out to the girl, looking disappointingly to the broken roller blade.
"You know, unless ya think you can get back on just one roller blade before that dog finishing eating." Not really taking note of how rude his joke may be, Pony grinned and looked back to the dog before returning his gaze to the nervous girl.
"What'll it be, ma'am?"

Alexia’s eyes were wide as she gazed at the guy who said her name was pretty, that only deepened the blush which over took her tale features. It was likely impossible that she could hold any more blood in her face to deepen the scarlet color which blossomed brightly. Mumbling a thanks as she lowered her head quickly in the best that she could manage, why was he calling her name cute?! Was he going to murder her?! Clearly the only possible outcome was that he wanted to take her home and dip the woman into a vat of bubbling wax to make her a statue like that movie she just happened to watch last night. "T-t-thank you" tripping over her words to give her thanks for the unusual compliment. Then the guy started to act concerned and it completely baffled the young woman, her face broke the laws of reality and she blushed a new level of super blushing as her eyes looked down at the ground by his feet. With her heart throttling away like a drummer in a thrash metal band, she was sure that it would burst free at any moment. People were scary, and this guy wanted to murder her, that was like double scary, as the poor young woman struggled to contain the trembles that made their way down to her hands. He was a fighter, so immediately the girl with a ‘slightly’ over active imagination brought forth the image of this guy mashing someone’s face in with a baseball bat. Perhaps the guy this Pony boy, which actually brought another image to mind one she saw on this adult site involving bds- she had to shake that tangent right now. Likely this was not the same sort of Pony boy, he was just a vicious baseball bat wielding brute who wanted to murder her, yay. Her rambling mind had done nothing to alleviate her high strong Adrenaline fueled worries. Although she didn’t actually say anything, she simply looked at the ground or to her broken roller blade with nodded as he spoke listening to him. Looking people in the face was a task far too daunting for her, she just couldn’t make herself manage it, no matter how hard she seemed to try. Talking to people just in general was very difficult, and this, a boy around her age who wanted to murder her was just an insurmountable task that rose beyond the highest of clouds. ”It’s….okay don’t worry about it, no problem” Half mumbling in a voice that got quieter with each word. She’d been completely oblivious to the passage of time and when the guy said they were past curfew her face paled and she looked straight up at him. Oh no, oh shit, she hadn’t prepared the proper counter measures for breaking curfew and there was no way she could make it back in time. With what she had on even hacking in and faking registry or checking in was beyond her considerable talents until she had more time to work the school’s networks. She hadn’t initially heard Pony boys offer, but she looked up the helmet was held out towards the young woman, she did however hear the second part. Catch a ride with a murderer, or stay and try and out run the dog only one choice. She squeaked- audibly so before practically jumping onto the ride. ”Get me out of here!” she begged. Stuffing the awkwardly larger helmet onto her head. ”Pleaaaaaseeee….!” with no small amount of urgency. Ferrucio Vaccaro

Watching Alexia's face become even more concerned, Pony became a little antsy himself, gently shaking the helmet in search of a response. She glanced back towards the dog, which looked to be about finished scarfing up the food from the ground. Watching her return her gaze to the ground he wasn't sure if he should say something again or not... He didn't want to scare her or anything. After several moments of presumed, inner self conflict, the young woman practically leaped onto his moped and pulled the helmet down over her head. She must have been awfully afraid of that dog... "Make sure you buckle that on right." He turned back to her to make sure she did as he said. "Can't have you bustin' yer head open." Pony knocked the kickstand with his foot, hearing it click against the metal base. Reaching back, he gently took hold of Alexia's hands and placed them on his sides. "Yer gonna want to hold on," He started, letting go of her hands and placing his own back on the handle bars. "You don't wanna go toppling off." Pushing off, the moped sped up rather quickly due to the illegal addition Pony had installed. They passed by the buildings more and more quickly as he broached and surpassed the allowed speeding limit for the area. They were on borrowed time and they'd both get in trouble for breaking curfew, after all. The air felt brisk as the two sped along back towards the campus, the wind swept through Pony's hair, making an even bigger mess of it than usual. He worried for a moment that it may be bothersome to the girl behind him, but he felt the warmth of her body against him. Holding on for dear life, no doubt. He suppressed the urge to laugh, not that she'd have heard it in the wind and sound of the motor. Though he couldn't see her, he felt for sure she was panicking. It had been a while since he'd actually allowed anyone to ride with him... It was a nice change of pace but it always reminded him that he wasn't on the cycle of his dreams. He'd wanted a motorcycle ever since he was a kid. In fact, his first memorable injury was sustained by running after a group of group of cyclists and accidentally running off the front porch in the process. He could hardly regard it as a memory at all, given he was a toddler at the time, but it had been made the embarrassing subject of many amusing family discussions. As he'd grown older, the desire for a motorcycle had transgressed the realm of childhood fascination and had become a want for separation from his family. It was an immature idea, but he stress of his father and lackluster parenting of his mother often had him daydreaming of just riding off. Which in a way, he supposed he'd gotten what he wanted... He wasn't quite sure anymore. The one thing he was sure of was how nice Alexia's hands felt gripping onto the front of his shirt. Shaking the complicated thoughts from his mind, he finally caught sight of the approaching campus. Pony grinned knowing that Alexia would be relieved to see the familiar buildings and lighting of the open court yard. Pulling up to the court yard side walk, he eased the moped to a stop and steadied his feet on either side of the cycle. "We're home." He chimed as he shifted into a resting position. After a moment or so, the girl got off and worked on composing herself, surely thankful for solid ground once again. "I hope the ride wasn't too stressful. Seemed like you held up pretty all right though, most people are scared the first time so don't be embarrassed or nothin'." He flashed his signature, sweet smile to her before looking down at her broken roller blade. "Uh.." It looked in pretty sad condition, but he was pretty good with his hands and he knew he had a wheel rack somewhere in his junk bin in his closet... "Um, if you wanted... I could fix that for you. Probably, I mean. It'd be cheaper than buying a new pair, that's for sure."

Alexia probably wouldn’t have buckled it up properly had he not turned around to make sure she listened. Under the intense gaze of this probable murderer the young woman readjusted her cranial safety device so that it fit snugly. It felt weird but at least it didn’t squish her glasses, she’d never actually worn a helmet in her young life before, protective gear was always so annoying. Hell had Pony boy not reach back to grab her hands she’d never have held on either. Although when he did, it was probably good that he wasn’t looking, her face was so red that it seemed to defy logic as her small hands with the long fingers were taken by his. NEVER had a boy or girl touched her hands like that, absolutely never and the way her eyes practically swirled said at much. Very lucky indeed her savior/possible murderer was not looking backwards. She held onto his sides her touched, reluctant, at least until the motorized vehicle started to take off. Then her touch turned into a death grip and the purr of the motor covered up the high pitched whine that bubbled out of the girl’s throat. In her rather high level of terror riding this death machine, she couldn’t even focus enough to do the math about how fast they were going. The formula as well as the variables were within the confines of her brain but it just wouldn’t click, such was her dismay at this speed. Alexia couldn’t help but pull herself tight to this guy, pressing her body as firmly against him as possible, if not for the helmet she’d have buried her face right into him. The warmth was, oddly comforting, as she clung onto him with each sway and tilt of the bike through the turns she clung on a little tighter. Shifting herself as close as possible until pretty much every part of her was pressed against either Pony boy or his bike. The end was in sight, finally, just as she was starting to consider loosening up to enjoy the ride. Had it gone on for much longer she may have started to enjoy the feeling of the wind rushing past them. Logically it wasn’t that different than her roller blades, the same principles applied, just she wasn’t in control and if someone hit them two objects moving in opposite directions their sum total of speed would equal splat. Okay nope, it might take more than just one ride to get her to be okay with a motorcycle. After all both of her parents had been obscenely boorish and their teenage rebellious phases at best had involved colored hair, not even colorful colors just brown to blonde. Ugh. No hidden motorcycles in the basement from those two, she was actually quite glad to be away from them. The bike eased to a stop, with some great effort the young lady peeled her fingers off of Pony’s shirt. They were stiff and reluctant to let go, but she managed to stand on weak wobbly legs, someone else might have recognized it to a similar feeling like sea legs. Her eyes were down cast as she looked in his general direction, facing people was still a very difficult thing for her. She unbuckled the helmet with a heavy sigh, trying to steady the nerves which still vibrated throughout her being. ”It….” Starting slowly, fooling no one very likely. ”It was m-manageable, t-thank you “ she said in a poor attempt to maintain her dignity, despite what her saviour had said. Still she couldn’t quite raise her gaze to meet his. She had nearly bolted a moment later but he pointed out her roller blade, the broken treasure made her feel crestfallen once more. ”Oh…yeah…” Sighing a long and deep exhale, before she looked up at him in surprise at his offer. ”O-oh.. no i-it’s okay, I mean… you already helped me so m-much! I don’t want to trouble you!” She protested shyly, giving this guy an out. Likely his offer was just being nice, yeah that was it, he was just being nice to her he didn’t really care about her roller blade. ”I-I mean if you want t-to just f-feel free to drop b-by my dorm or something” Really she didn’t expect him to take up the offer, why the words had left her mouth she had no clue. "Ayy, see?" Pony grinned in response to the Alexia's obvious lie. "It ain't so bad once ya get used to it, it's pretty fun actually." His grin relaxed into a warm smile. Alexia didn't seem like the type to relax easily, she'd been so tense the entire time. He'd noticed that he himself seemed to put her on edge as well, while he tried to avoid it, it didn't seem his efforts were too effective.
"Yeah, don't worry about it." Pony Boy shrugged. "It's not an inconvenience or anythin', it'll actually be a pretty easy fix if I have a wheel rack the right size." He reached out and took the helmet from the shaken girl, holding it in his lap as he spoke. "All I'd have to do is unscrew it an' attach the new rack."
"I got all sorts of junk parts an' shit that I've found layin' around places or in junk yards." Pony drummed his fingertips on the helmet as he spoke. "Most of it I use for spare parts but some of it you can sell for.. a surprising amount of money." He nodded, as if the action would help validate what he'd said in some way.
"I mean like, I have a c.b. radio I found in a junked car." He shrugged his shoulders, making a confused expression at his own statement. "I dunno what the fuck I'm gonna use it for, but I have one." It was then that Pony realized he'd been rambling on. It was something he tended to do when he got to talking about all the things he'd collected and what he might use them for in the future.
"U-uh.. UM But yeah, I uh.. I can fix your rollerblade for you. Probably, anyway." His voice was almost a mumble as he nervously turned back to hook the helmet onto his moped. He'd somehow managed to embarrass himself in front of the one girl he'd ever met where he'd assumed such a thing would be impossible. She was so fidgety and quiet, yet somehow he'd still managed to come off as a loser. Though his embarrassment was working on eating him alive, Alexia made a statement which couldn't help but perk him up a bit.
"Come by your room?" He hadn't expected someone so painfully shy to make an offer like that. Did that mean she actually did trust him underneath all of her awkwardness? Pony Boy couldn't help but crack a bit of a smile. "Yeah, I can do that. I don't know where you stay though. The Phoenix dorms are kind of a mystery to me." Pony laughed and ran his tongue ring across the front of his teeth before continuing. "It's a real easy fix so I'll have it patched up by tomorrow." He gingerly took the rollerblade from Alexia's hands, inspecting it once more before looking up to her. "I'd drop 'em by tonight but curfew.. An' the RA's already gonna be on my ass for bein' late."
"Just tell me what room number an' what time I should come by an' I'll be there. sorry this is late aaaa

Alexia nodded quietly when he spoke about the ride, he was all smiles but they were untrustworthy smiles. Still, all things considered they were at least more tolerable smiles than more of people around her. Pony boy took the helmet away from her trembling fingers and he spoke about the process of fixing it, the concept loosely made sense, surely it wasn’t that hard at all. For a moment she considered simply asking to have the part herself so that she could do it, but her tongue wouldn’t do it, the image of her asking only to be screamed at for her inconsideration held the words still. Never mind the fact her thought didn’t actually make sense in a logical sort of way, anxiety wasn’t logical. ”Y-yeah..you can find some n-neat things with junk…” she had to agree with him honestly, not that she had ever tried to sell anything involving junk- however the thought of C.B radio did give her a sort of idea. ”With the right a-amplifier a-and h-hardware some r-radios can be used to pick up satellite signals a-and if you t-time it and angle it right e-even deep space transmissions” She had started out strong in her speech, but then her words faded into a quiet mumble as though with each passing word Alexia felt like she was being dumber and dumber. Her face renewed its blush as she realized he likely didn’t care even the slightest about the stupid idea to stupidly pick up stupid signals. “O-oh…y-yeah… probably” She mumbled her agreement while Pony boy felt embarrassed, Alexia didn’t manage to notice in the slightest. Had either of them the ability to read minds their worries would instantly be alleviated, however they could not. Even if his behaviour was a little off, she’d be unlikely to notice as everyone in her rather biased eyes acted oddly. The poor boy had no reason to feel embarrassed, not that he could know that. ”!” His enthusiasm towards coming to her room did not go unnoticed. She flushed again her face had by this point entered a state of perpetually being red. The boy took the rollerblade from her hand as she took a half step backwards. Her own nerves were constantly fraying themselves for a multitude of reasons but at least at the moment they were quite okay. Still in reality Alexia did not believe she would see the repaired rollerblade ever again, he was just being nice or pitying her for whatever reason, by tomorrow he’d have forgotten she existed as pretty much everyone did. Ö-oh! Curfew!” they were still late, it hadn’t gotten any earlier! (who’d have thought) Alexia turned to sprint back to the dorms. ”ah! W-we g-gotta go!” The last thing Pony boy said to the girl made her pause mid step, turn slightly looking at him through those large glasses with the big timid eyes. Ö-oh…… d-d-….dorm number…s-six…. J-just come by w-whenever I guess if you want to…ah! W-w-we better get moving or we’ll get in trouble….” She turned to run away again, but instead hesitated for a moment, just long enough to mumble, with her back turned towards pony boy, as loud as she could manage. ”T-thank you for helping me…” It was still rather quiet and the possibility existed that he heard not her best attempt at gratitude but it was indeed her best attempt. Without much of another word she ran for the building to try and make it before anyone noticed she was late. Hopefully she could catch a break, it was almost certain that he’d not show up tomorrow, she never expected him to keep his word, but for a possibly, yet slightly less than likely chance he was a murderer, pony boy wasn’t that bad. ((So… how you want to do this? A new thread? Or keep going and do a inthread little time skip to tomorrow? What do you want to do? I mean i think this makes us the most active people on this site right now! haha...)) Ferrucio Vaccaro
