I'm sure he's made a few friends that put up with his bullshit. Yes, he's basically neurotic but all his worrying can be somewhat endearing when it comes to friendship. After discovering the internet, he's always on his laptop researching but maybe someone could introduce him to gaming or hacking. Well, maybe if his nerves don't get the better of him for both. He angers easily so it wouldn't be in anyone's best interest to start off by humiliating him. He's gullible and untrusting at the same time. So, if a use and abuse friendship is your thing, here's your patsy. It might take some work, though. But, that's friendship in general with Scout.

Everyone is an enemy until proven friendly. So, if you'd like... This is an easy enough area to slide into because no one can be trusted.

Hahaha! Oh wait, this is a serious section of this plot page? I guess so. Okay. So... We'll skip past the fact that Scout is a virgin shut-in. He does desire companionship. Whoever his room-mate is may fill that quota but he does find girls more attractive. He'd be a bit sadistic in relationships, I think. He'd always keep it interesting, in a bad way. He's the abuser who apologizes profusely while promising never to do it again. He's the wall-puncher, the wrist grabber, the you-can't-leave-me-you're-all-I-have guy, the anxiety-inducing bi-polar relationship that makes girls get over their bad boy fix.
