[attr="class","hdtitle"]PERSONALITY [attr="class","hdinfo"]Sharp tongued and petty, Ainsley seems like he would make a bad friend on the outside. Often times he’s rather snooty, and tends to say the first thing that comes to his mind. He’s a loud mouth, and enjoys when all of the attention in the room is on him. He often yells when speaking so everyone can hear what he has to say. He has a tendency to become obsessive over things, making sure things are perfect or making sure he looks perfect for when others are definitely going to be looking at him. Despite all his awful qualities, he is a very sensitive guy. Little things upset him, and he’s one of those people that cries during the sad dog commercials. He is caring towards others, though it’s often covered up with a sharp remark and a scoff even as he’s helping them. He dislikes to see others truly upset, though getting under their skin is a bit of a pastime for him. | [attr="class","hdtitle"]HISTORY/MISC. [attr="class","hdinfo"]Ainsley was the middle child in a family of five, and his brothers and sisters were all extremely talented in one facet or another. This of course meant going to events constantly, attending ceremonies, cheering his siblings on and so on and so forth. His family was well rounded and financially secure, and everything really seemed perfect for Ainsley. His parents were kind and loving, but despite this he felt ignored. His brothers and sisters were praised often for their exploits, and Ainsley seemed to be awful at everything he picked up. Jealousy brewed deep within him, and he wanted to be noticed. So, he did the only logical thing and began acting out. It was small things at first, like not doing things he was supposed to or picking fights with his siblings on purpose. Eventually though he became bored with that, and began taking more drastic measures to keep his parents’ attention. He began fighting at school or mouthing off to teachers. Ainsley became the ‘wrong crowd’ at school, relishing in all the attention he received for acting like a baby. In highschool his activities took a far more malicious turn. Ainsley vandalized, fought, and occasionally dabbled in arson. His family was distraught and at a loss for what to do for their son, but Ainsley had grown addicted to the negative attention he was receiving. At the ripe of sixteen he decided he was going to do something extreme. Ainsley tossed a few ideas around, but eventually settled on trying to set his school aflame. Things went according to plan, and on a cloudy Tuesday afternoon a fire broke out in his highschool. No one was hurt, but the damages were plentiful. The real life consequences of his actions didn’t really settle in until he was standing in court facing a judge for his actions. It wasn’t an entirely unfamiliar scene for him, but the woman before him spent a good amount of time listing off the ‘possible’ charges he would have received if anyone had died in the fire. It made his stomach churn, and he was given an ultimatum. Attend a troubled youth academy and receive counselling, or go to a juvenile jail. Ainsley didn’t have much of a choice, since his parents were filling out papers to send him away before the court session had even ended. Ainsley arrived at Birchwood Academy in his junior year, though he was eighteen turning nineteen due to several failed grades he found that for once he wasn’t the oldest within his classes. |
