I drank too much and that's an issue, but i'm okay
Music was blaring through her cheap earphones the moment she got here. Anything to get rid of the awful ambiance of this place.
Lain Collins removed her aviator shades and adjusted the weight her bags as it slowly slipped from her shoulders. Despite the pain her guitar was causing her, it'll be the last thing she'd consider leaving behind. More importantly, it seemed like the only thing capable of keeping her sane for the time being.
Still, though, it feels like junior high all over again. She'd rather have this than go back to being a wimp.
After walking a few steps more from her dropoff point, she arrived and entered the dormitory premises. Upon her enrollment she was given the second copy of the keycard for her dorm ("Don't lose the keycard," Martha Collins, mother of Lain, reminded her, to which she casually rolled her eyes at. "I know you lose a lot of stuff. Don't make me tell you this again."). It seemed like she came to Birchwood while the rest of students are having their classes-- no big deal, really. It'll put her at ease for the time being.
Her feet kinda ached, though. Just now. 'Wonder why.'
When she reached the hallway, she scanned the room numbers. Four rooms. Shouldn't that be hard to find-- but damn, Lain's feet are really aching. She looked down on her shoes. It was the wrong pair.
"Guess I'll just have to buy new ones, if I can find a thrift store somewhere..." Lain mumbled to herself, propping all her bags down in loud thuds. She sat at one spot of the hallways and examined her feet. It couldn't wait, it hurt so bad. She removed her shoes and stuffed it inside her duffel bag.
This is the first time she's ever felt so blank. But luckily no one's around for now. She could definitely use the quietude.
