- Asper is a lying fuckboy. He doesn't care. He'll look at photo evidence and still deny it.
- Asper is extremely obsessed with the idea of being the perfect son that his parents will love and be proud of, but he also has a lot of traits (that he isn't great at suppressing) that are directly at odds with what his parents would want. This often leaves him frustrated, upset, and a little depressed.
- Asper pretends to not take anything seriously, but his extremely good grades and records point to the fact that he takes everything a little too seriously.
- Asper is a thrill-seeker/adrenaline junkie and tends to be very dangerous in all facets of life because of this. Riding with him tends to be an experience that most people want to forget. Due to the fact that his parents have always bailed him out, he tends to have trouble working through the consequences of his actions and is extremely impulsive as a result.
- Asper secretly loves sappy music like Sam Smith, Ed Sheeron, etc. His current favorite album is Lemonade, however.

[attr="class","hdinfo"]Asper was born into the lap of luxury with a silver spoon in his mouth. His gender ensured that he would get anything he wanted growing up, as long as he didn’t fuck up too badly. From the moment he was born, Asper knew pampering and care. Anything he showed an interest in, from mechanics to basketball, he was given without hesitation. Asper’s life, honestly, could have been thought of as perfect if it weren’t for one minor hitch.

His sister, Aspen.

Born right alongside him, a mere ten minutes after him, Asper grew up watching himself get everything while Aspen got nothing. Their father barely looked in her direction (unless he was criticizing her), and though such behavior was somewhat normalized in Asper’s mind… he couldn’t quite let it go. Though Asper could easily have been described as spoiled and selfish, these feelings never really extended to his sister. Both children were headstrong and had tempers, so there was fighting, but there was a bond. A bond that caused Asper to question what he had in life, a bond that made him want to share it.

Asper grew up with a dichotomy of feeling protective over his sister, and submissive toward his father. He wanted desperately to keep his father’s attention, love, and approval, but he wanted Aspen to have better. He did his best to share everything with her. When he got something new, and she showed interest in it, he would all but give it to her. Sometimes, he feigned interest in things he knew she liked so she could have them. It never quite made up for the way Aspen was treated, though.

The twins were homeschooled for most of their lives, as well, but Asper had more freedom to make friends outside of the house. As he aged, he started having girlfriends (and denying certain boys’ claims). Eventually, he was expected to bring them home if the relationship lasted for more than a month or so. One particular girl – Rachel – had been to his house several times. While he wasn’t necessarily exclusive with her, the two had been “dating” on and off for about four months and his parents really seemed to like her.

Asper didn’t particularly care for the girl at all. He found her dry and boring, she was just a pretty face. However, when she and his sister were found in a closet together one night after dinner… well… Asper wasn't quite sure how to take it. Rachel was quickly kicked out of the house, and during all of the screaming and violence that followed afterward, Asper felt rather numb. He avoided his sister for several days before the two got into a fight. Eventually the siblings worked it out for the most part, however. Asper hadn’t really cared for Rachel, after all, but she had been his girlfriend.

It wasn’t very long afterward that their parents decided to send Aspen off to Birchwood to hopefully “fix” her. Asper didn’t have to go with her. He’d had some minor run-ins with law enforcement (wrecks, underage drinking, etc), but his father had taken care of all of these for him. There was really no reason for him to go, and he certainly didn’t want to, but one look at Aspen and he knew he couldn’t let her go alone. So, bitterly, he demanded to go as well. His parents were reluctant, however, though they didn’t want to believe them, there were quite a few boys making “terrible” claims about their son. In the end, they agreed to send Asper with Aspen. Though Asper made his own bed, and chose to come to Birchwood, he tends to hold it over Aspen’s head.
