[attr="class","howlborder"]The night patrol had begun their rounds through the wolf dorms. It was always the one thing Iosif had counted on so he could have a sort of alibi before sneaking out. He sat on the edge of his bed, playing with his phone to seemingly distract himself from the footsteps that came through the hallway. They eventually halted right before his door and it wasn't long before the knob rattled a little and then turned. After a quick glance in the room, they deemed that both students were present and accounted for. Iosif waited for a bit and once the footsteps were far enough away, he placed the phone down. While normally he would have snuck out through the bathroom, it had currently been occupied. That was perfect for him. He jotted down a note and left it on his bed in case his roommate came out to find him missing. It was just a bullshit excuse as to divert attention away from himself.

Went to get a shower in the public bathroom and a snack before a bit of spatchka. - Iosif

His penmanship was surprisingly neat, a trait that seemed both odd and arbitrary for someone like him. He had his key so if the other locked him out, he'd still have a way back in. Iosif slipped into what was necessary and tucked the handkerchief he usually used as a cover of sorts into his pocket, then carefully routed his escape. There was a dorm that they never really seemed to use that was close to the gutter. As long as he could get the door unlocked, he'd be able to make his way down that and land safely. After fumbling with the lock and keeping an eye on potential dangers, Iosif got the door open and proceeded to shut and lock it behind himself. No wonder they didn't give out the dorm in question, it was pitiful looking. But now wasn't time to judge the condition of his escape. He unlocked the window and pushed it up and boosted himself out. He had a little trouble closing the window from the outside with one hand, but he eventually got it. It wasn't long before he went to the ground and tied his handkerchief around his face and completed his look with a black beanie cap then bolted for the campus entryway.

Iosif, unfortunately, didn't make it far before he caught sight of another person on campus. Fuck, was she a security patrol of sorts? Nevertheless, he was more than happy to stand his ground. Fists clenched as he took a stance of sorts. He showed that he was more than eager to fight if it came down to it. Once his eyes properly adjusted, his brows furrowed a bit. The girl looked familiar. There was no doubt in his mind that she, too, was a fellow student. Rather than continue his defensive stance, he lowered his fists and brought his pseudo-mask down with it to hang around his neck. A look of confusion shaped his features as he spoke to the student. It was late enough as it was, and no doubt his words were most certainly hypocritical. But he had things he needed to do. No need to get others involved if it wasn't, to some degree, necessary. As he spoke, his words came off in a hushed manner. They'd both get in trouble if they were caught outside past curfew.
