[attr="class","hdtitle"]PERSONALITY [attr="class","hdinfo"] Although Layla appears to be cold, it is actually the opposite, it only looks that way since she cannot remember what "normal" is anymore. People who get to know her find that Layla is actually a warm and friendly person. Likes

| [attr="class","hdtitle"]HISTORY/MISC. [attr="class","hdinfo"]It's been a year since the Incident. The first year of highschool was tough at her old school and she hopes the rest of her highschool life will be better at Birchwood Academy. The Incident uprooted her life, which made it hard for her to talk to anyone, even her older sister who she used to be very close with. It gave her a never ending nightmare, and occasional panic attacks. Laila's panic attacks are usually triggered when she feels cornered or when she hears loud bangs that are similar to gunshots. Her panic attacks also trigger a persona change, making her act brash rather than her usual friendly demeanor. These panic attack episodes can last up to 10 minutes. After the Incident, and a terrible first year at her old highschool, Layla's parents decided to send her to Birchwood Academy where they hope that their daughter will come to terms with the events of the Incident and return to her old self. The Incident Layla grew up with her childhood friend, Brie. Brie was a young girl who loved adventure and would usually bug Layla to come along. The two girls were inseperable. One day, just a few months after their first day of highschool, Brie and Layla got caught up in a crossfire between two local gangs. While trying to escape the crossfire Brie got shot and died due to blood loss before she was able to receive medical help. Layla took it hard, and blamed herself for failing to protect her friend. |
