friends
So far, Brie's been the closest friend Layla's ever had. Sure there were a few others, but she fell out of touch with them since Brie died. This past year has been solitary for Layla, devoid of heartfelt human interaction. She won't bite, just somberly watch you with a stoic face (observing before she replies). The first few conversations with Layla are always like this, meaning you have to make a bit of effort, but it'll pay off eventually and you'll soon have a friend worth keeping. Well er, despite her overprotectiveness with some things.
**When starting conversations with her, the best topics to get her talking are video games or graphic novels (if manga, the shounen genre).

enemies
It's not everyday you end up being hated by Layla, but once you're on her hatelist, it's pretty hard to get out of it. She's quite patient, waiting until her "subject of observation" has shown his/her true colors before gauging whether you're definitely an enemy. Then, once you've doomed yourself, Layla begins plotting your imminent demise into the lowest circle of hell. Physical and mental injuries that are calculated with utmost precision will be inevitable. You were warned.
hobbies
Sports or extracurricular activities are another way of releasing pent up depression for Layla. She's not very hardcore about it, but makes an effort for the team nonetheless. The first few conversations will most probably be short, since she doesn't know how to interact with different types of people, much less those with a hot fiery passion for the sport. Sometimes she won't respond when practicing or playing during a match, since she'll be in the zone.
lovers
Layla's had a few flings here and there, never lasting longer than a month, but no one night stands. EVER. She doesn't care whether you're a male or female, but definitely cares about whether your heart's into it (despite the number of flings she's already had) and whether her own heart is. To her, relationships aren't a game but a step up from friendship and are built on trust and love effort. That being said, it's quite hard to win her over, especially after the Incident. If you think you can handle her hardened heart, skeptical brain and emotional baggage, go give it a shot.
