I'm not sure if Miles makes "friends" so much as "people who don't necessarily want to deck him a good one". He's just such an undeniably arrogant prick; every sentence out of his mouth has ulterior motives underneath ulterior motives. It's difficult to imagine anyone getting close enough (even wanting to get close enough) to him to know him -- the real him, not just the teasing flicker of tongue behind teeth, or the hot breath of whispered promises. With that being said, he's also not wholly unlikable. He's pretty smart and never short of a witty quip, so, y'know, maybe you tolerate his presence because you're too busy hiding your snorts of amusements whenever he mouths off in class to really bother disliking him. In truth, he isn't a terrible person, but again, you'd have to want to stick around long enough to get to know him. Miles' insensitivity comes from the fact that he doesn't remember to put other people before him, which is a nice way of calling him a self-centered, egotistic butt-head... Miles comes off as a gigantic shit stain so I can definitely see people aching to land a solid punch right into his infuriating smirks. But if he has enemies, they're definitely one-sided. Miles thinks he's a gift to this world and interprets hatred as jealous, plain and simple. Why would he hate people who are jealous of him? If anything, he pities you, in a contemptuous sort of way. And because he pities you, he goes out of his way to brush up against you in hallways; poor sod, he thinks, to want/want to be me so terribly. Let my touch ease their suffering a little. Like for god's sake, man, even hating him doesn't make him go away. He's like a goddamn fruit fly. Just with maybe a touch more sex appeal. He probably won't hate you (it's just kind of a foreign concept to him, much like love), because that takes too much effort -- but there are ways to ensure that he doesn't like you, and subsequently, will ignore you so hard you'll have to pinch yourself now and then to remind yourself that you're tangible. If you're constantly trying to contradict him, or if you're so uptight that even he cannot persuade to crack a grin now and then, he'll probably give you up for a lost cause and just avoid interacting with you. one-sided-- scott prescott taking you down with me lol

OK, so, despite the fact that Nora seems like she constantly pushy and kind of dominant, that's only around people who seem "submissive" to her. If she gets teased back, she'll become flustered and will falter.
The fact that Miles is a bad boy a complete flirt, would most definitely throw Nora off of her balance. And despite the fact that she's dating someone who could be seen as a "nice guy," she still has feelings for "bad boys," if you catch my drift. /coughs
She is quite gullible and indiscreet, so she would most likely just nod up at him, because she doesn't believe anyone have motives, save for herself. So he'd most likely have her wrapped around her fingers without her ever knowing it.

this is how it's playing out in my head LOL-- miles is sauntering down the school hallway, no real destination in mind, when he notices this girl teasing and flirting with some kid he vaguely recognizes and has categorized as "the shy kid in the corner of the library who's always reading about botany; what a nerd". he's amused by the apparently expert way that nora is toying with the shy kid, and impressed that she's managing to get actual responses out of him. the next day miles decides, hey, why not do some teasing of his own, since she can evidently dish it.
so he schmoozes up to her, leans an arm against the locker by her head in a way that would make any senpai from a shoujo anime proud, and winks down at her. "what's a sweet little lamb like you doing here, when you should be in class?" and then nora goes bright red and stammers something like "i have a spare break - i mean a bare - a sake - i -- i don't have any classes right now", and miles is all OMG LOL YOU CAN DISH BUT YOU CAN'T TAKE THAT IS SO PRECIOUS I'M GONNA TEASE YOU 5EVER.
perhaps in the future he could come to see her as a younger sister? especially if she's already seeing someone -- miles is an asshat but he's not SO much of one that he does underhanded things like #i'm mr steal-yo-girl LOL he wouldn't let up the flirting much though, until they get to know each other, and then the flirting would turn into casual teasing?

She would be super embarrassed and would try and trip him up whenever he isn't paying attention, like, "maybe if I say something rn, while he isn't paying attention, I can make him blush." But like, it would probably come off as stilted and weird. And then it's back to slowly dying of shame.
Nora needs more sibling figures, pls! ;w; Honestly, the fact that he would def tease her would make her want to stay by his side and just catch him off guard. Just once! But no, it is just sadness and embarrassment for Nora.

omfg dean and miles is a terrible combination WHO ALLOWED THESE TWO TO BE IN THE SAME YEAR because they are going to be the reason this school bursts into flames. I AM SO ON BOARD with them being dumb party friends and egging each other on during classes, to the eternal migraine of their teachers (all of whom get together on weekends to binge drink in an effort to forget that come monday, they'll have to suffer another 5 days of the terrible two).
miles is pretty intelligent as far as intelligent goes (he just doesn't apply himself to the things that matter), so dean probably also likes to mooch off his homework... like... whenever miles feels like actually doing any work.
and he wouldn't mind random "uhMMM JUST MAKE OUT WITH ME ALREADY" sessions, but he'd be an ass and tease things like, "don't you want to search my pockets for candy first?" and then when dean tries, miles just goes, "kidding, i didn't bring any candy /grabs and eats face" and dean gets all "hoW DARE--" and then miles pulls out a lollipop from we-don't-wanna-know-where and bares his teeth in a smile and dean just swoons because he gets kisses aND snacks, wowe #2good2bereal

miles wouldn't bully or punch pretentious people who have sticks up their asses... which would probably be easier on scott's sanity. instead, miles would just reVEL in the constant attention, probably to the point where he would do something rule-breaky on purpose, right in scott's sight, just to get the guy all ruffled up. and then when scott stomps over to hiss at him about how he's doing something wrong, he'd just wrap an arm around the guy's waist and croon into his ear, "i'd like to coax something out of that mouth other than complaints"

miles kennedy and Ainsley Willis Ainsley is such an attention whore he would probably feel such intense anger at just the sight of Miles just because he's attractive. After the anger disappeared he'd immediately decide "I'm going to make him my friend, and we'll be attractive together" because Ainsley is conceited. I imagine they would butt heads constantly since they're both super like... giant assholes. Ainsley probably wouldn't develop any sort of crush on Miles, since Miles probs wouldn't give him anywhere near the attention he requires to survive, but Ainsley would totally sleep with him or like send him dumb memes. miles kennedy and COLE DALLIS Miles would walk all over Cole to be honest. LIKe Miles would say something dickish and Cole would just 'yeah man' or something cause he has NO SPINE. Miles could totally get Cole into big trouble with stuff if he wanted cause Cole would just... do whatever Miles wanted. Like, if Miles decided he was gonna be nice to Cole, he would just leech off of that and just brush all the 'bad habits' under the rug. |

I really shouldn't be posting in plotters anymore //shot, but I was so tempted ;;O;; blame it on Milesissac witherton AND miles kennedy Idea I: ssac honestly can be a pretentious little shit, but he's good with people in general. It's not as much that he loves attention; rather, he likes the feeling of being talked to and generally being liked by people. With Issac, there's just a big gap between his usual perfect kind/friendly/helpful self and the cynical/unconcerned self. So he could definitely strike a few conversations with Miles at first to fill the need of being liked and honestly he'd even go along with Mile's flirtatious tendencies because why the hell not? Eventually, Issac may get to the 'silently judging and rolling eyes' stage, but then now he's gotta keep up with Miles to keep up his appearances/front. And since, Miles is perceptive, he could be a handful for Issac. Idea II: Or they could just freaking hook-up LOL Because honestly Issac will just say yes to everything and anything breathing even though he won't commit to it (esp since I don't think Miles' exactly what he views as dating/boyfriend type) They could generally end up being friends??? idk LOL But I can definitely see Issac eventually being his asshole self around Miles. I mean his compliments for Miles quickly could turn into insults and I would guess that wouldn't go too well. So I guess I'm thinking more of a love-hate friendship or some shit LOL At the same time though, I also feel like Miles wouldn't deal too well with Issac at the beginning. miles wouldn’t bully cole, per se, but there would be a lot of playful teasing and poking fun at. he’d probably call him “one eyed wonder“ and then throw an arm around poor cole’s shoulders, hug him close, plant a smacking kiss on his cheek, and top it all off with a gloriously cheesy line like “but the real wonder is how i haven’t fallen for you yet, you beautiful eyepatched pirate”. i read in cole’s bio that he likes to braid/play with hair, which works for miles tbh because he has longish hair and he wouldn’t mind if cole wanted to go to town on them blonde locks. but he’d probably swat at the boy’s picked at and chewed on fingers and make him go bandage them because “i ain’t letting you put your grubby paws on my hair”. it’d be one of his uhhh;;; thoughtful moments, where he shoves at someone to do something for their own benefit — but unintentionally thoughtful, because it comes from a “me me me“ stance LOL;;

miles doesn’t do the frick frack paddy whack, though, because he’s not so self-centred that he doesn’t recognize sex as a two-way street (aka he’d actually focus on what his partner would want, because if he didn’t, then obviously he’d be considered a shitty sexual partner, and his whole thing is that he needs people to be impressed/awed by him) — and that takes a lot of effort and requires him to sort of, yknow, care enough to actually PUT that effort forward. aaand he doesn’t care, because he tends to drop people too quickly for any sort of emotional attachments to form.
BUT he is totally content to hedge someone up against a wall and kiss them seven ways ’til sunday. ALSO also if they start out friendly, and issac’s flirting compliments eventually turn into sarcastic bantering, miles would still consider him a friend, because part of friendship is being comfortable enough that you don’t NEED to compliment each other. but if those insults were genuinely rude and there was no teasing warmth behind any of the words, then yeah, i can see miles getting irritated with him real fast. thoughts??

issac witherton AND miles kennedy Issac'a insults are more of a result from his nonchalant/unconcerned attitude. Rather than berating comments, it's more about being brutally honest (taking it a little too far at times) or just kinda tugging at someone's string just for the sake of it kind of deal. I mean he's an asshole, but he's not...that bad of a person?? Issac's actually got a soft spot for people once he drops all his bullshit. Generally, he just lacks emotional connections with people and are wary of them, but at the same time, he doesn't want to be alone. Tbh, I also have no idea half the things that goes on in his head, so forgive me if I don't make sense OTL. Even though he'll send a few bitter remarks at Miles, he'll also like compliment him. Like he'll acknowledge Miles' efforts if he sees it just as he would point out his flaws out. So idk how Miles would react to that though?? And I mean it could go well since they both just could be honest. I started out this plotter thinking they would be a type of enemies, but they have the potential to be really good friends in a way?? Idk Tea, ya gotta help me out since I honestly am not the best plotter in the world OTL. I feel bad pushing all towards you ;;V;; Sorry fam. |

i think they can be friends. miles can be pretty superficial, but at heart he just wants to be liked, as lame as that sounds. he'll be fine with a few blunt remarks here and there, he's a big boy and can handle that, esp if they mutually consider the other to be a friend. once he gets past the flirtatious, playboy front that miles puts up as a default, issac will find the better parts of miles -- like how he can be accidentally kind at times (example: person x keeps picking at their scabs, miles finds it annoying, loses his patience, and ends up cleaning and bandaging up the area, just because if he has to see that person scritch scritch scritching at their scab one more time, he's gonna flip a shit).
miles can also help with issac's dislike of being alone. he loves company (duh) so if issac even hinted vaguely at hanging out, he'd be like "aight bro i'm down". i think they're one of those friends where it'd take a bit of cautious, dancing-around-each-other, before they properly assess how to act around each other. and then given time, they'll naturally grow comfortable enough for those acts to be dropped. does that make sense? TBH the bottom line is miles is actually p easy-going, and it'd take a lot of genuine malice to get on his bad side.
